Dr. Ofir Levi, CEO

Ofir Levi is the founder of Bioassociate and serves as its CEO. Dr Levi is a seasoned entrepreneur in the life science arena with 10 years of experience. Dr. Levi was  the founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of Radmor Biocap LLC, an Investment Company with a wide portfolio ranging from medical devices to new chemical entities and agro-tech. Dr. Levi was also the founder and Chief Executive officer of EZQuant, a company dedicated to the development of software for life science research labs. Dr. Levi holds cumulative experience in licensing and forming collaborations with multinational companies. Dr. Levi has presented his scientific work in several leading conferences and is the author of many published articles in leading scientific journals.

Dr. Levi holds a PhD degree in Neurobiochemistry from Tel-Aviv University.

Dr. Gal Ophir,  Head of Scientific Research

Gal Ophir joined Bioassociate in 2010 and servers as its senior partner responsible for the analysis of life science companies. Dr. Ophir has several years of experience as an entrepreneur in the life sciences field, during which he founded and managed two companies. Dr. Ophir has a wealth of experience in both academic research and the biotechnology industries and has expertise is life science research and laboratory management. He brings a broad range of expertise in speciality areas in biological models and methods to the company. Dr. Ophir has participated in several collaborations with leading international laboratories and published a wide range of articles in scientific journals.

Dr. Ophir holds a PhD in Neurobiochemistry from Tel Aviv University.

Tiran Rothman, Head of Financial Research

Tiran is responsible for the financial analysis of the life science companies, including options valuation. For a significant period of time he has worked as an analyst specializing in economic valuations and business plans of public and private companies. In his latest position, Tiran was the chief economist of GADOT, a multi-national holding company based in Israel, a subsidiary of American Israel Corporation (NASDAQ:AMPL) where he practised M&A and economic analysis. Mr. Rothman is a PhD candidate in finance at the Hebrew University, as part of which he focused on complex biomed valuations.

Tiran holds an MBA (finance) from the Interdisciplinary Center and an MA in International Relations from Tel-Aviv University (Magna cum Laude). Tiran is a Major (res.) in one of the special intelligence units of the IDF.

Dror Ozeri, CPA, Adv., Head of Business Initiative and IFRS Specialist

Dror Ozeri joined Bioassociate in 2010 and servers as its senior partner responsible for the financial aspects of analysis of life science companies. Mr. Ozeri is a well experienced financial & business consultant, providing services to Hi-Tech companies, startups and entrepreneurs.  Mr. Ozeri served as CFO of Nisko Electricity & Electronics (traded in TASE).  As part of this role he was responsible for the corporate M&A strategy and directed the second biggest business division of the corporation.  Previously, Mr. Ozeri served as CFO of Ofek International Real-Estate (traded in TASE) and Dadeland Towers, in which he led two public debt offerings in an aggregate amount of NIS200 million. Mr. Ozeri was a senior manager in the TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) group of Deloitte where he advised and worked closely with the Hi-Tech industry – multinationals (such as Microsoft and Alcatel), startups and VC’s.

Mr. Ozeri holds a Bachelor degree (Cum Laude) in Accounting, and an Economics degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B.) from Tel-Aviv University.

Mr. Ozeri is certified as a CPA and an Attorney at Law in Israel.

Julia Skripka-Serry, MSc, Head of Marketing and Communications

Julia joined Bioassociate as an analyst in 2011. She has previously held a similar role at a London venture capital firm, and has done extensive work as a free-lance problem solver for global life science corporations.

Julia has an MSc in Drug Discovery and a BSc(Hons) in Biotechnology from The University of Edinburgh (UK).

She has contributed to several world-class publications and won a number of awards at international science competitions.

 

Dr. Ari Massoudi, Head of French Office

Ari Massoudi is a former entrepreneur in the medical education sector and molecular cell biology researcher in the field of stem cells, cell-therapy and regenerative medicine. Since 2007, Dr. Massoudi provides strategic and management consulting services. Dr. Massoudi is strongly involved in the innovation ecosystem in France; his network includes technology-based companies, academic research institutions, industrial property experts, technology-transfer offices, business/technology-clusters, startup incubators, and angel investors and venture capital investment firms.

Dr. Massoudi holds a PhD in Molecular & Cell Biology from Nice Sophia Antipolis University, and a Master’s Degree in Strategy and Management of Innovation from the Management School of Strasbourg.
